Morphe

Q & A

Answers to the most frequent questions about the Morphe project.

How does this differ from ReVanced? expand_more
Morphe is a pre-built distribution of ReVanced patches. While ReVanced requires you to patch the APK yourself using a manager, Morphe provides ready-to-install APKs that are tested for stability. We handle the patching process so you don't have to.
Is it safe? expand_more
The code is open source. We do not inject any proprietary code or trackers. The modifications are purely to enable features and remove ads. You can verify the integrity of the APKs by comparing signatures or building from source.
Will my Google account be banned? expand_more
There have been no documented cases of users being banned solely for using ReVanced or Vanced clients. However, using any modified client technically violates YouTube's ToS. We recommend using a secondary account if you are concerned.
Downloads are slow. expand_more
We host files on GitHub Releases which can sometimes be throttled or slow in certain regions. Try using a VPN or a download manager if speeds are insufficient.
Can I download videos? expand_more
YouTube's native offline download feature typically requires Premium. However, Morphe includes an "External Download" button overlay in the player that can launch apps like Seal or PowerTube to download the video file directly to your device storage.
